FIND ME
Find Me was written to a track called Sometime, Someplace by Cleveland legend Roberto Ocasio. Roberto was the founder of the Roberto Ocascio Latin Jazz Project. He and I became friends in 1999, just after he had recorded his first CD. He played me two of the tracks at his home. Sometime, Someplace and Song for My Children. Shortly thereafter I composed lyrics for both tracks. Roberto was killed in a tragic car accident just a few weeks later. He never had a chance to see the lyrics. Find Me was recorded in 2020 by Don DiSantis.

Find Me
Lyrics by Hal Pollock
Music by Roberto Ocasio
Vocals by Don Disantis
Tell me when will your love find me
Leave these lonely days behind me
Distant memories remind me
How I need need your love to find me
Now love let the music take you there
Back in time and space to a place where
One glance set my soul on fire
One dance made the flames grow higher
One chance music could inspire
Romance passion and desire
Now love let the music take us there
Back in time and space to that very special place
Tell me when will your love find me
Leave these lonely days behind me
Distant memories remind me
How I need need your love to find me
Now love let the music take you there
Back in time and space to a place where
One glance set my soul on fire
One dance made the flames grow higher
One chance music could inspire
Romance passion and desire
Now love
Let the music take us there
Back in time and space to that very special place
Come with me help me put out the fire
