There’s a place they call the pinnacle
It’s very hard to find
Some people never reach it
Though they see it in their mind
If you want to reach the pinnacle
There’s one way to the top
Get back up and try again
And never ever stop

Life is full of challenges
Keep your eye upon the prize
It takes a laser focus
And a hundred million tries
Don’t let anyone deter you
You will find to your surprise
That you can be a winner
With a star that’s on the rise

There are losers there are winners
Do you know which you will be?
Do you have that burning passion
To achieve your destiny?
If you know that you’re a winner
Show them you will never stop
Till your standing on the pinnacle
The highest mountaintop

Success is born of failure
It comes from state of mind
Go out and show the world
That you’re the winning kind
Ignore all of the naysayers
Does not matter what they say
Failure’s not an option
Like Tom Cruise said “But not today”

I don’t have all the answers
But this much I know is true
You can’t get to there by quitting
And won’t get there if you do
So put your shoulder to the wheel
Push ahead you’ll make it through
And one day you will discover
The sun shinin’ down on you

I can see the pinnacle
It’s right before my eyes
And all those who were cynical
Are in for a surprise
‘Cause I have reached the pinnacle
For I refused to stop
And the view is mighty pretty
When you’re standin’ on the top
