The perfect time, the perfect year
So many days have come and gone
Since we were here
But now its seems that we can fly
To find the great romance
That always passed us by

To dance the dance we never knew
Our paths had crossed but separated ‘for we knew
We had the chance but not the time
To find our great romance
The reason and the rhyme

So here we are we’re back again
We never thought that we could make it or pretend
The greatest love we’ve ever known
Was waiting here for us to claim it as our own

The perfect day, the perfect pair
I never dreamed that I’d be walking on thin air
But now it seems that even dreams
Can come when you think love is gone
When there’s no hope to carry on
When each time you try to find it
There’s no words to fit your song

So at last we’ll dance the dance
The dance we never knew
The dance I’ve waited all my life
To dance only with you
And we’ll finally have the chance
To have our great romance
