Today is the day
You have waited so long
To stand in the circle
Right where you belong
So get down on your mark
‘Cause now is the time
That magical moment
When you’re in your prime

Go for the gold
The impossible dream
The greatest reward
Is as close as it seems
Go for the gold
Let the whole world see
All that you can achieve
Be the best you can be

You always have known
It was your destiny
To capture first prize
And to make history

Well now is the moment
And now is the time
For you to step forward
The spotlight to shine

So go for the gold
The impossible dream
The greatest reward
Is as close as it seems
Go for the gold
Let the whole world see
All that you can achieve
Be the best you can be

Let the games now begin
And the story unfold
You are ready at last
Gonna go for the gold
