For all of my life up to this very day
I’ve been living alone thought alone I would stay
A black and white world
And a sky filled with grey
But all of that changed when I found you today

Dreaming in color the very first time
Dreaming in color now that you are mine
An angel from Heaven just happened my way
With a rainbow of colors to brighten my day

Now I’m seeing my life in a whole different light
A thousand new colors from morning to night
Yellow and orange purple red green and blue
A life filled with colors so warm and so new

Dreaming in color the very first time
Dreaming in color now that you are mine
An angel from Heaven just happened my way
With a rainbow of colors to brighten my day

How can one person so magically bring
An array of new colors to make my heart sing?
You light up my world with a love that is true
Now I’m dreaming in color I’m dreaming of you

Dreaming in color I’m dreaming away
I have fallen in love and in love I will stay

Lost in a dream that was all black and white
Now suddenly someone has turned on the light
With you by my side I forever will be
Dreaming in color with you next to me
