An Angel In Disguise

Follow Hal Pollock

There are times in life you meet someone

They catch you by surprise

And before you even know it

You are lost inside their eyes

I just met a girl like that

Now I just fantasize

She’s all I ever wanted

She’s an angel in disguise

An angel in disguise

That’s what you are to me

An angel in disguise

As perfect as can be

A halo up above you

A glow inside your eyes

An aura all around you

She’s an angel in disguise

I went searchin’ for an angel

But I never thought I’d find

The loveliest of angels

So warm and sweet and kind

The moment that I saw her

I surrendered instantly

That pretty little angel

Now she belongs to me

How do you find an angel?

Is there one out there for you?

Perhaps one day you’ll find her

And your dreams will all come true

God sent me an angel

To help and see me through

That pretty little angel

He sent to me is you

An angel in disguise

That’s what you are to me

An angel in disguise

I never thought I’d see

A halo up above you

A glow inside your eyes

An aura all around you

She’s my angel in disguise
